Located at Booth 3160 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Macroblock presents a diverse range of exhibits, including automotive displays, interior lighting, and exterior lighting solutions. The highlights of the exhibits are outlined below:
Advanced LED Driver ICs for Automotive Applications
The personalized emblem light, linear ambient light and smart dimming reading light showcased at this exhibition utilize the LED driver IC, MBI6034Q. This 12-channel constant-current IC supports 16-bit grayscale for richer color performance and offers long wire data transfer feature. Currently, the MBI6034Q has been successfully integrated into the interior ambient lighting of the Honda’s Ye P7 model and is being showcased at Macroblock’s CES booth.

The center information display and haptic buttons apply the MBI6330Q. This 24-channel driver supports an 8-scan design and 16-bit grayscale. This IC enables “dot correction by zone” to achieve optimal brightness uniformity and supports “high luminance mode”, enhancing warning symbol visibility and in-vehicle entertainment usage. Furthermore, the MBI6330Q includes advanced features such as error detection, error report, and signal disconnection mode to enhance system stability and reliability.

For planar ambient light, illuminated embroidery and multi-finish decorative part, Macroblock uses the MBI5352Q. This 48-channel constant-current LED driver IC supports 32-scan design and 16-bit grayscale. Equipped with dynamic energy-saving technology, it effectively mitigates overheating, ensuring reliable operation.

The MBI6352Q powers the head-up display (HUD). With 48 channels and a 4-scan design, this chip can control up to 192 local dimming zones per unit. Its high-current capability ensures superior display clarity in dark and dim environments, providing drivers and passengers with a safer and more comfortable in-car experience.

The passenger entertainment display, built on a glass substrate, is powered by the MBI6306Q LED driver IC. This 6-channel chip operates on a static backlight architecture. Meanwhile, the interactive signal display (ISD) adopts the MBI5780Q, a highly-integrated driver IC that supports a 90-scan design and 16-bit grayscale. Its common-cathode architecture ensures low power consumption without compromising performance.
