Macroblock connects Wide Sports and Dante Coffee to smart retail solutions at their physical stores at Startup Terrace in Linkuo, New Taipei City in Taiwan. The experiential stores have officially opened on January 6, 2020. Dealing with massive amounts of information of daily operation at physical stores often leads to poor operational efficiency. To better utilize valuable data and improve operational efficiency, Wide Sports and Dante Coffee deploy Macroblock’s precision marketing solution, a customized IoT solution, at their physical stores in Linkuo.

At the grand opening event, Macroblock’s Chairman, also Chairman of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Association (NiEA) in Taiwan, remarks, “As the LED displays go into the stores, Macroblock has started to integrate IoT solutions to LED displays for smart retail applications for two years. We are glad to invite Wide Sports and Dante Coffee to realize the smart retail solutions at their stores at Startup Terrace. At Wide Sports’ store, there is a pixel pitch 1.92mm, 166” LED display integrated with a series of in-store IoT solutions. Consumers may experience the 3D body scanner along with the official APP to learn about the products and find the suitable sizes or alternative and recommended products according to their purchase history, and the pay online system also speeds up the checkout process. Wide Sports and Dante Coffee has implemented the precision marketing solution to analyze consumers’ buying habits from the valuable data analysis through facial recognition and traffic flow to improve operational efficiency.”

Macroblock’s IoT solutions can be integrated with all kinds of displays, no matter it is an LED display or an LCD screen. To elevate the shopping experiences to new heights and to provide retailers better decision-making on daily operations, Macroblock is also planning to integrate Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and IoT technologies together on the LED displays. For those who are interested in experiencing smart retail solutions, welcome to stop by Wide Sports and Dante Coffee at Startup Terrace in Linkuo, New Taipei City in Taiwan.
