Hawkeye 250-MBI5850

Hawkeye 250 represents a new scanning method of driver IC. Compared with Hawkeye 100, Hawkeye 150, and Hawkeye 200, Hawkeye 250 features its scan-sharing architecture, highly-integrated and true 16-bit grayscale.

The recommended pixel pitch of Hawkeye 250 is from 1.5mm to 6mm. It can also achieve HDR-Optimized* visual performance. Because of its upgraded visual performance, some display makers adopt Hawkeye 250 for LED cinema screen use. * 16-bit grayscale at 4KHz refresh rate at 32-scan design or above.

Besides, since Hawkeye 250 integrates driver IC, MOSFETs and logic ICs into one “chip”, this is good to simplify PCB layout and modular design.

As for energy conservation consideration, Hawkeye 250 has a Dynamic+ power-saving function that is an upgraded version of Dynamic power-saving function. Dynamic+ power-saving function can be activated even when an IC control area does not have a full black screen.
