Hysteretic Pulse Frequency Modulation (Hysteretic PFM)—which does not require circuit compensation—not only offers an excellent cost competitiveness and a fast dynamic response, it also provides an outstanding conversion efficiency under low loads that can significantly boost the performance of LED lighting systems.
● Operating control hysteresis range ±15%
● Hysteretic pulse frequency modulation can increase efficiency under low loads from 70% to over 86%.
● Adjustable output switching frequency
- The greater the current load, the higher the switching frequency (to a maximum of 1.0MHz)
- The switching frequency is high under a 1A high load, and is low under a 350mA low load.
- Low load: <200 mA or only one LED in use
● Can be used for streetlights or decorative lighting (MR16)
